میری صدا ہے گل شمع شام آزادی
Meri sada hai gul-e-shama-e-shaam-e-azaadi
سنا رہا ہوں دلوں کو پیام آزادی
Suna raha hoon dilon ko payaam-e-azaadi
لہو وطن کے شہیدوں کا رنگ لایا ہے
Lahu watan ke shaheedon ka rang laaya hai
اچھل رہا ہے زمانے میں نام آزادی
Uchal raha hai zamaane mein naam-e-azaadi
مجھے بقا کی ضرورت نہیں کہ فانی ہوں
Mujhe baqa ki zarurat nahin ke faani hoon
میری فنا سے ہے پیدا دوام آزادی
Meri fana se hai paida dawaam-e-azaadi
جو راج کرتے ہیں جمہوریت کے پردے میں
Jo raaj karte hain jamhooriyat ke parday mein
انہیں بھی ہے سر و سودائے خام آزادی
Unhein bhi hai sar-o-saudaa-e-khaam-e-azaadi
بنائیں گے نئی دنیا کسان اور مزدور
Banayenge nayi duniya kisaan aur mazdoor
یہی سجائیں گے دیوان عام آزادی
Yahi sajaayenge deewaan-e-aam-e-azaadi
فضا میں جلتے دلوں سے دھواں سا اٹھتا ہے
Fiza mein jalte dilon se dhuan sa uthta hai
ارے یہ صبح غلامی یہ شام آزادی
Arey yeh subah ghulami, yeh shaam-e-azaadi
یہ مہر و ماہ یہ تارے یہ بام ہفت افلاک
Yeh mehr-o-maah, yeh taare, yeh baam-e-haft aflak
بہت بلند ہے ان سے مقام آزادی
Bohat buland hai inse maqam-e-azaadi
فضائے شام و سحر میں شفق جھلکتی ہے
Fiza-e-shaam-o-sehar mein shafaq jhalakti hai
کہ جام میں ہے مئے لالہ فام آزادی
Ke jaam mein hai mai-e-laala-faam-e-azaadi
Tranlsation:
My voice is like the flower of the candle in the evening of freedom.
I am conveying to hearts the message of freedom.
The blood of the martyrs of the homeland has borne its color.
The name of freedom is resounding across the world.
I have no need for permanence, for I am mortal.
From my annihilation arises the eternal life of freedom.
Those who rule behind the veil of democracy,
They too are caught in the naive obsession with freedom.
Farmers and workers will build a new world.
They will adorn the grand assembly of freedom.
From burning hearts, a smoke rises into the air.
This morning is of captivity, this evening of freedom.
These suns, moons, stars, and the heights of the seven skies,
Higher than all of them is the station of freedom.
In the air of dusk and dawn, a crimson glow appears.
As though the goblet is filled with the ruby wine of freedom.
