It’s that time of the year again.
When there are only two things on our mind — Ramadan, iftar, suhoor and Eid.
But if we’re being honest… bachpan mein rozay rakhne se zyada excitement Eid ki hoti thi.
Today at the office, someone randomly brought up childhood Eid memories…
And suddenly everyone started sharing their stories.
“Eid ki namaz se wapsi par Abu masjid ke bahir se sunglasses dila dete thay.”
“Main tayar ho kar cousins ke saath seedha khelne chali jati thi.”
“Dada Dadi se milne jaate thay aur sab se pehle eidi wohi dete thay.”
And just like that… we were all taken back in time.
That 10 Rupees ki Eidi — The Richest Feeling in the World ❤️
Eidi…Uff.
Back in the day our eidi consisted of just one crisp 10 rupee note.
But it would make us feel like the richest kids in the world.
Aur un 10 rupay se humne kya kuch nahi khareeda!
Aik Frooto.
Aik Top Pop.
BP Spacer.
Mr. Bear.
Dream Chocolate.
And then poora din cousins ke saath mil baant kar khana.
That tiny note carried unlimited happiness.
Uss das rupay ki qeemat behisaab thi.
Turns out, it wasn’t about the money.
It was about the feeling.
When Did Eid Start Feeling Different?
Now?
Half the family lives abroad.
We wake up late.
Eid feels like just another day off.
We get ready in the evening - mostly for the food.
Because eidi toh ab milti he nahi.
Somewhere between growing up and growing apart, Eid changed.
And maybe… the feelings changed too.
So We Thought… Why Not Bring It Back?
This Eid, expect a small eidi from us to you in every order you place.
For the memories it holds.
For the people who gave us love.
For those Eid days that were louder, happier, and full of the tiniest joys that were somehow so big.
A reminder of where we come from.
Because Eid in Pakistan was never about how much we received.
It was about how deeply we felt.
Eid Mubarak. 🌙
