زمانے کے جس دور سے ہم اس وقت گزر رہے ہیں اگر آپ اس سے ناواقف ہیں تو میرے افسانے پڑھیئے۔ اگر آپ ان افسانوں کو برداشت نہیں کر سکتے تو اس کا مطلب ہے کہ یہ زمانہ ناقابل برداشت ہے۔۔۔ مجھ میں جو برائیاں ہیں، وہ اس عہد کی برائیاں ہیں۔۔۔ میری تحریر میں کوئی نقص نہیں۔ جس نقص کو میرے نام سے منسوب کیا جاتا ہے، در اصل موجودہ نظام کا نقص ہے۔


لوگ مجھے سیاہ قلم کہتے ہیں، میں تختہ سیاہ پر کالی چاک سے نہیں لکھتا سفید چاک استعمال کرتا ہوں کہ تختہ سیاہ کی سیاہی اور بھی زیادہ نمایاں ہو جائے۔ یہ میرا خاص انداز، میرا خاص طرز ;ہے۔


حسین چیز ایک دائمی مسرت ہے۔ آرٹ جہاں بھی ملے ہمیں اس کی قدر کرنی چاہیئے۔
